On St. George Island and the surrounding area, Apalachicola, Eastpoint, the Gulf is livelihood for everyone from shop owners to fishermen, oystermen, shrimpers, and rental property owners. I wanted to capture images of the place before the BP Oil spill invades this very unique and beautiful area. I will also be adding images of areas already hit by the oil as we travel west along the coast to New Orleans.
